Something wicked is coming to London this weekend\u2026 <\/p>
This weekend, Ralph Fiennes\u2019s production of Macbeth is set to make its London debut at the custom-built Dock X warehouse \u2013 and there\u2019s still plenty of tickets available.<\/p>\n
The Harry Potter and Menu actor will be starring as the title character, while Torchwood and Game of Thrones actress Indira Varma joins him as Lady Macbeth.<\/p>\n
The site-specific production has been touring around warehouses in Liverpool and Edinburgh since December and is now heading to London before an April stint in Washington DC.<\/p>\n
So far the show, directed by Simon Godwin, has gained much praise for Fiennes\u2019 and Varma\u2019s performances, as well as the unique warehouse staging, which has been set up like a modern day war.<\/p>\n
Before taking on the role, Fiennes commented on Macbeth\u2019s relevance to the world conflicts going on today: \u201cMacbeth is a play that always carries relevance, but with wars in Ukraine and Sudan\u2026 the play seems particularly current.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut Shakespeare\u2019s examination of the minds of his protagonists \u2013 the intimate nature of this \u2013 is what gives the play its brilliant and terrifying focus.\u201d<\/p>\n

Plus, it\u2019s a fully accessible location with a step-free entrance and accessible bathroom facilities.<\/p>\n Buy Macbeth tickets at Love Theatre<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Ralph Fiennes\u2019s time on the stage is as short as his characters reign as King \u2013 lasting just seven weeks.<\/p>\n Performances will start this weekend, Saturday 10th February, and run until 30th March. The shows will take place every Monday to Saturday with matinee performances on Thursdays and at the weekend.
