Ghosts and Taskmaster were among the big winners at this year\u2019s Comedy.co.uk<\/a> Awards.<\/p>\n

The former show, following the paranormal inhabitants of Button House, bowed out after a wildly popular run with its fifth season and 2023 Christmas special, winning both Returning TV Sitcom and Comedy of the Year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019d like to thank everyone for voting for us for these fantastic awards,\u201d said Ghosts<\/a> co-creator and star Jim Howick. \u201cIt\u2019s always such an honour to receive them, especially as they\u2019re voted on by the fans, so thank you very much.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Taskmaster<\/a> won Best TV Entertainment Show for seasons 15 and 16, as well as its traditional New Year Treat.<\/p>\n

\u201cHello, everyone! It\u2019s me, Greg Davies \u2013 I\u2019m a great guy,\u201d said Little Alex Horne, cowering behind a statue of the host in the acceptance video below.<\/p>\n
