The Strictly 2021 contestant was admitted to A&E yesterday after sustaining a head injury during rehearsal. <\/p>
Dan Walker has revealed that he was sent to A&E after sustaining his first Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> injury ahead of tonight\u2019s 2021 launch show.<\/p>\n The BBC Breakfast host took to Instagram on Friday to tell fans that he\u2019d bumped his head during rehearsal and would need to rest for the next few days.<\/p>\n \u201cThings I learned yesterday. One, don\u2019t run into glass doors or get a big lump on your head,\u201d Dan Walker<\/a> said in the video.<\/p>\n I found out from @RoseAylingEllis<\/a> that you can add subtitles to Instagram stories very easily yesterday. Walker later wrote on Twitter: \u201cBit of head-based drama today!<\/p>\n \u201cAfter whacking my noggin on the big glass window yesterday I got sent to A&E today because I was feeling a bit wobbly.<\/p>\n \u201cA lovely nurse at Barnet Hospital called Karina checked my vitals and six ft nine Dr Erik Witt gave me a CT scan which was clear.<\/p>\n \u201cNo blood on the brain but I have to rest for a few days. I\u2019ll be a bit behind but back to [dancing emoji] next week.\u201d<\/p>\n He added that while he couldn\u2019t disclose who his professional partner was, the currently unknown Strictly star \u201cwaited for hours in the car park to check I was ok\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cWhatever happens on TV, she has a friend for life,\u201d he said.<\/p> Walker isn\u2019t the only Strictly contestant to injure themselves before the show has even aired \u2013 last weekend, McFly\u2019s Tom Fletcher<\/a> revealed that he\u2019d hurt his foot just one day into filming<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cOne day of @bbcstrictly<\/a> filming and my foot looks like this????.
