Bodyguard star Paul Ready has said that he’d “definitely” return for series two as Rob. <\/p>
Fans of Jed Mercurio drama Bodyguard<\/a> had a lot to be excited about this weekend when reports of plans for series two hit the press \u2013 and while the BBC is yet to officially confirm the news, one of the show\u2019s stars has revealed that he\u2019d \u201clove\u201d to the return for a second series.<\/p>\n In an exclusive interview with\u00a0RadioTimes.com<\/strong> back in May, Paul Ready, who played the villainous Rob in Bodyguard, said that he\u2019d definitely say yes if asked to appear in series two.<\/p>\n \u201cI loved playing that character. I love playing kind of ambiguous, slightly shady characters like that.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, it Bodyguard came back and they wanted to write that character again, I\u2019d definitely do it. I thought it was great fun. It was great fun to play.<\/p> \u201cJed is a brilliant writer and obviously, I\u2019ve just been hooked on Line of Duty. I couldn\u2019t have imagined how much it would capture the audience\u2019s imagination. They really went for it. A hugely popular show.<\/p>\n \u201cPeople would see me on the tube at the time and they\u2019d go, \u2018I\u2019m watching Bodyguard, don\u2019t tell me!
