After eight episodes, a number of show-stopping performances and some truly out of this world costumes, the winner of The Masked Singer<\/a> season 5 has been revealed!<\/p>\n

Host Joel Dommett was joined by panellists Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan and special guest Rob Brydon as the final three acts all competed to be crowned as the 2024 champ.<\/p>\n

In the end, it was Piranha<\/a> who was announced as this year\u2019s winner and revealed to be none other than McFly\u2019s Danny Jones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in second place, Bigfoot<\/a>\u00a0took off his outfit to reveal himself as The Last Leg comedian Alex Brooker<\/strong>, while finishing in third, Cricket<\/a> was unmasked as popstar and former BRIT Award winner Lemar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Danny Jones didn\u2019t manage to go under the radar, as many fans who had tuned into the show each weekend began suspecting the Voice UK coach.<\/p>\n

Following Jones\u2019s performances over the past few weeks, fans had flocked to X (formerly known as Twitter), to share their suspicions.<\/p>\n

\u201cDanny\u2019s voice is easy to point out and I can hear his Bolton accent when Piranha speaks,\u201d one user wrote.<\/p>\n

While another penned: \u201cIf Danny Jones isn\u2019t Piranha, I\u2019ll chuck all my McFly CDs away\u2026 you can\u2019t deny that voice!\u201d<\/p>

Over the course of the competition, a number of celebrities took to the stage to perform as best as they could, and the ultimate guessing game heated up as more clues about their true identities were revealed week by week.<\/p>\n

This led to singing legend Dionne Warwick revealed as Weather. Her unmasking was followed by Chicken Caesar<\/a>, who was unveiled as Alexander Armstrong, Rat<\/a> (Shirley Ballas<\/a>), Bubble Tea<\/a> (Julia Sawalha) and Owl<\/a> (Lorraine Kelly).<\/p>\n
