After cha-cha-ing her way to becoming the latest Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> winner, Ellie Leach<\/a> has addressed if she will ever return to Coronation Street<\/a>.<\/p>\n As fans will remember, Leach left the ITV soap last year as her character Faye Windass departed Weatherfield with her ex-boyfriend Jackson and their daughter Miley.<\/p>\n She portrayed Faye for over 10 years and now, she has lifted the lid on if she would return.<\/p>\n During an appearance on The One Show, Ellie responded to the question of whether she would step back onto the cobbles or not.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean never say never,\u201d she said. \u201cObviously, [Faye] didn\u2019t die.\u201d Indeed, this does leave the door somewhat open!<\/p>\n Leach added: \u201cI spent so many amazing years there, I grew up there, and they will always be like my family, so yeah, it was an amazing experience and I loved it.\u201d<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n While nothing is confirmed of Ellie\u2019s return to Weatherfield, fans will be able to catch the actress in other projects.<\/p>\n The Strictly winner is set to star in the UK touring production of Cluedo 2 \u2013 The Next Chapter, in which she will portray Miss Scarlett.<\/p>\n She will be starring alongside Jason Durr (Casualty), Jack Bennett and Hannah Boyce.<\/p> \u201cAfter an incredible year I\u2019m so excited to join the cast of Cluedo 2,\u201d said Leach. \u201cI am delighted to make my stage acting debut as Miss Scarlett and I can\u2019t wait to work with Jason and the talented cast.\u201d<\/p>\n Ellie shot to further fame late last year after she was crowned the winner of Strictly Come Dancing. The actress was partnered with Vito Coppola and the pair scored 115 on the final night. We shall follow her next moves with great interest!<\/p>\n\n
