Shephard has been announced as the new co-host of This Morning alongside Cat Deeley. <\/p>

Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley have been announced as the new hosts of This Morning<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The pair have filled the vacancy left following <\/span>Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, <\/span>who both <\/span>departed from the ITV show last year<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since then, <\/span>This Morning<\/span><\/a> has been hosted by a rotating mix of guest hosts, including <\/span>Alison Hammond<\/span><\/a>, Dermot O\u2019Leary, Josie Gibson, Rylan Clark, Rochelle Humes, Craig Doyle and Emma Willis.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s understood that Shephard and Deeley <\/span>will present episodes from Monday to Thursday, while Alison Hammond and Dermot O\u2019Leary will continue to host the Friday episode as usual.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yes, the host is leaving the early morning show<\/strong> for a new role on fellow ITV programme, This Morning.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shephard will be a regular co-host alongside Cat Deeley.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThank you very much for the amazing messages I\u2019ve had,\u201d he said during today\u2019s GMB broadcast (22nd February). \u201cObviously it\u2019s something I considered very, very carefully, because these guys have been my family for the last 10 years, for some of them.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s literally the other side of the wall, so I\u2019m really, really not going far,\u201d he continued, calling his new job an \u201cexciting opportunity\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n
