Theo James is in for a rough ride in the new trailer for Guy Ritchie’s series based on his 2019 film. <\/p>

Netflix has just dropped a trailer for its upcoming action series The Gentlemen<\/a>, set in the world of Guy Ritchie\u2019s 2019 film.<\/p>\n

Ritchie created the series, which is set to land on the streamer in March, and which features a stellar cast led by Theo James, Kaya Scodelario and Ray Winstone.<\/p>\n

And though they play new characters, the recently released footage certainly has plenty of tonal and visual nods to the film.<\/p>\n

In signature Ritchie style, the trailer opens with a foul-mouthed rant launched by James\u2019s Eddie Horniman at his brother, played by Daniel Ings.<\/p>\n\n<p>Their father has just died, leaving Eddie in charge of their sizeable country estate \u2013 and his secret cannabis empire.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a class=\"standard-card-new__article-title qa-card-link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/sci-fi\/linda-hamilton-stranger-things-season-5-newsupdate\/\">Linda Hamilton on joining Stranger Things: \u201cI still don\u2019t know how it ends\u201d<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/drama\/kin-season-3-discussions-newsupdate\/\">Kin season 3 \u201cdiscussions\u201d in the works after star casts doubt on future<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The latter thrusts him into the criminal underworld, where he crosses paths with Winstone\u2019s career criminal Bobby Glass and his glamorous daughter Susie (Scodelario), as well as a whole host of unsavoury characters, including Giancarlo Esposito\u2019s Uncle Stan, who ominously warns in the trailer that \u201cpeople either survive in the jungle, or exist in the zoo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Judging by the rest of the footage, our money is on Eddie attempting the former.<\/p> <p><strong>The Gentlemen will arrive on Netflix in March.\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/gb\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/gb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sign up for Netflix from \u00a34.99 a month<\/a>.
