It was the return of the infamous shopping task on tonight\u2019s episode of The Apprentice<\/a> and for one team, they failed\u2026 miserably.<\/p>\n

The teams were sent to Jersey to secure nine items synonymous to the area, with the team that wins the most items at the lowest price declared the winners.<\/p>\n

For two unlucky candidates, it was a trip back home in the loser taxi.<\/p>\n

Tonight\u2019s episode saw recruitment consultant Jack Davies<\/a> put himself up for project manager but unfortunately for him, his team lost and it marked the fourth time he lost a task, which did not sit well with Lord Alan Sugar<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In an exclusive interview with RadioTimes.com<\/a>, Jack opened up about his time as project manager and his subsequent firing \u2013 which he didn\u2019t think was warranted.<\/p>

\u201cTo be honest, I was like, \u2018This is my time\u2019. I\u2019m gonna bring the win here,\u201d he explained. \u201cAs soon as I knew what was coming up, I was like, \u2018It\u2019s my task, it\u2019s negotiation\u2019 because that\u2019s where my strengths lie. So I took the reins and overall, it was a brilliant day, everyone had loads of time.\u201d<\/p>\n

While it was a fun day, Jack acknowledged that his team\u2019s failure lay with their lack of negotiations. As viewers saw in tonight\u2019s episode, the team failed to bring down high prices for the majority of their items, especially when it came down to a \u00a3190 surfboard.<\/p>\n
