Geralt of Rivia has got a lot on his plate, which is exactly why we think it\u2019s a forgivable offence to make use of The Witcher 3 cheats.<\/p>\n

And we\u2019ve got all the best console commands and how to use them to get the job done.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for console players, only PC users can make use of such witchcraft. Xbox, PlayStation and Switch players will just have to make do with Geralt\u2019s own powers.<\/p>\n

These console codes also won\u2019t bring back Henry Cavill<\/a> as Geralt either, if you weren\u2019t happy<\/a> with the recast<\/a> for season 4<\/a> \u2013 not that George White minds, as he reckons Yennefer is the real star of the show<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But alas, there are plenty of cheating shenanigans ahead to tide us over until The Witcher 4<\/a>, so read on!<\/p>\n

The Witcher 3 cheats: How to use console commands<\/b><\/h2>\n

Using console commands in The Witcher 3 is a little more convoluted than in other games, and requires some .ini file editing shenanigans to make it available in-game.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, we\u2019ve got just how to do it for you below!<\/p>\n

  • Use Windows Explorer to find your Witcher 3 folder, or if on Steam, right-click on The Witcher 3, select Manage<\/b> then select Browse Local Files<\/b><\/li>\n
  • Next, open bin<\/b>, then config<\/b> and finally base<\/strong>, where you need to open general.ini<\/b> in Notepad<\/li>\n
  • At the bottom, add a new line with \u201cDGBConsoleOn=True<\/b>\u201d\u00a0without any quotation marks then save and close the file<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    After this, you\u2019ll be able to access the console in game by pressing the @<\/b> or # <\/b>or F2 <\/b>keys and entering any of the codes below.<\/p>\n

    Said codes are often paired with parenthesis and quotation marks, and these must be kept intact. They are also case-sensitive, so make sure you\u2019ve got them typed out correctly.<\/p>\n

    As an example, learnskill(\u2018Skill ID\u2019) <\/b>would need to be entered as learnskill(\u2018sword_s3\u2019).<\/p>\n
