If you ever miss the days of collecting Pok\u00e9mon cards, ordering them in a binder and showing them off to friends, then Pok\u00e9mon TCG Pocket is the game for you.<\/p>\n

Announced as part of the Pok\u00e9mon Presents presentation in February 2024, players around the world will be able to rekindle their youth or discover the original 151 Pok\u00e9mon in card form for the very first time.<\/p>\n

Naturally, this has all the makings of a major hit that looks to appeal to people of all ages.<\/p>\n

So far, we\u2019ve been treated to an announcement trailer, some gameplay details, where the game will be playable, developer comments and even a release window.<\/p>\n

And this is only the beginning, as more will undoubtedly be revealed as the year goes on.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a lot to discuss and plenty to get excited about if you\u2019re a Pok\u00e9mon fan. So, with all this in mind, here\u2019s everything we know so far about Pok\u00e9mon TCG Pocket.<\/p>\n

When is the Pok\u00e9mon TCG Pocket release date? Our speculation<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Pok\u00e9mon TCG Pocket is set to launch sometime in 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Pok\u00e9mon Company officially stated that the game will be released \u201cwithin 2024\u201d, so it will be out before the end of the year.<\/p>\n

In terms of when we think the game could be released, take a look at the previous release dates for Pok\u00e9mon games on mobile.<\/p>\n

    Looking at all of these release dates, we\u2019d expect that Pok\u00e9mon TC Pocket will launch in summer 2024<\/strong> \u2013 somewhere between the months of June to August.<\/p>\n

    Of course, this is pure speculation, but looking at the company\u2019s history, there is a pattern.<\/p>

    Which consoles and platforms can play Pok\u00e9mon TCG Pocket?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Pok\u00e9mon TCG Pocket will launch exclusively for mobile, specifically on iOS and Android devices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    The project is being co-developed by The Pok\u00e9mon Company, Creatures Inc (the creators of the Pok\u00e9mon TCG) and DeNA (Pok\u00e9mon Masters EX).<\/p>\n

    There\u2019s been no word from any of the studios about the game coming to any other platforms \u2013 however, we could see it arriving on Nintendo Switch at a later date if it proves successful.<\/p>\n

    Can I pre-order Pok\u00e9mon TCG Pocket?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Pok\u00e9mon TCG Pocket is not available for pre-order<\/strong>, with the game launching on mobile as a free-to-start game.<\/p>\n

    Players will be able to \u201copen two packs per day at no cost\u201d simply by logging into the game. From there, it\u2019s likely real money will need to be exchanged to access more cards.<\/p>\n

    Pok\u00e9mon TCG Pocket gameplay looks to surround the act of opening booster packs<\/strong>, similar to the real-life experience that helped make Pok\u00e9mon the phenomenon it is today.<\/p>\n

    These cards can then be arranged with different variations like shiny and \u201cimmersive\u201d with an enhanced backdrop.<\/p>\n

    So far, the likes of Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Snorlax, Charizard, Vaporeon, Moltres, Haunter, Meowth and more have been confirmed to appear.<\/p>\n

    A \u201cstreamlined\u201d version of Pok\u00e9mon TCG and its rules will also allow players to utilise their cards in battle. These are described as quick battles to compete in whenever you get a free moment.<\/p>\n
