To mark today\u2019s Pok\u00e9mon Day<\/a> celebrations, during an online Pok\u00e9mon Presents showcase, a brand new game was announced.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s officially called Pok\u00e9mon Legends Z-A, although it looks like the internet has collectively decided to just call it Pok\u00e9mon Legends Z.<\/p>\n

This new Switch<\/a> game \u2014 seemingly spit across two titles, Pok\u00e9mon Legends Z and Pok\u00e9mon Legends A \u2014 will bring players back to the France-inspired Kalos region from Pok\u00e9mon X and Y.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s even talk of an \u201can urban redevelopment plan\u201d in the Paris-inspired Lumiose City, the centrepiece location of those 2013 3DS titles. Read on to learn more!<\/p>\n

When is the Pok\u00e9mon Legends Z release date? Our speculation<\/strong><\/h2>\n
In terms of the Pok\u00e9mon Legends Z release date, the official trailer confirms that\u00a02025\u00a0<\/strong>will be the year that we all return to Kalos.<\/p>\n
A precise date was not mentioned in the announcement, so it\u2019s time to put our speculation hat on.<\/p>\n
If the developers at Game Freak wanted to aim for the original X and Y release date, the anniversary for that would be 12th October 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
Twelve years on from the original X and Y launch, that October window is as good a guess as any for the arrival of Z and A.<\/p>\n
