The streaming service, which had previously jumped from \u00a35.99 a month to \u00a37.99 a month, announced three new price tiers and the introduction of an ad-supported subscription plan.<\/p>\n
The new Disney Plus prices start at \u00a34.99 a month and go up to \u00a37.99 and \u00a310.99, or \u00a379.90 and \u00a3109.90 for yearly subscriptions \u2013 but what exactly does each price plan offer, and is it really worth going up to the higher price points?<\/p>\n
Well, that\u2019s what we\u2019re here to answer. Below, we\u2019ve covered everything you need to know about the different Disney Plus price tiers, from the bare necessities to the final details.<\/p>\n
But before you go on, it\u2019s worth noting that from 29th February to 14th March 2024, Disney has lowered the cost of its basic Standard with Ads plan from \u00a34.99 a month to \u00a31.99 a month for three months. That means from now until June you could be saving \u00a39 (or 60%) on the very best content from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and more.<\/p>\n

The most basic plan \u2013 Standard with Ads \u2013 will also not let you download content to a device and your streaming will be regularly interrupted by adverts.<\/p>\n Get three months Disney Plus for \u00a31.99 a month<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n The cheapest Disney Plus tier is the Standard with Ads plan, costing \u00a34.99 a month. With this plan, you\u2019ll get access to Disney\u2019s complete catalogue, but will have to put up with adverts interrupting your viewing. Disney has stated that viewers can expect an average of four minutes of adverts for every one hour of TV.<\/p>\n You won\u2019t be able to download content with the Standard with Ads plan and can only stream on up to two devices at once. The video quality is also capped at 1080p Full HD and the audio at 5.1.<\/p>\n Remember, though, that until the 14th of March you can get this plan for just \u00a31.99 a month for three months, saving you \u00a39 in total.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s a close look at what each plan offers:<\/p>\n It depends on what your priorities are. If, like most of us, you turned to streaming services to get away from adverts, then yes, it\u2019s probably worth investing in either the \u00a37.99 or \u00a310.99 subscription plans. But, if you\u2019re not bothered about sitting through a few extra minutes of ads \u2013 might be a good time to go and get a cup of tea \u2013 then \u00a34.99 is a great price for all of Disney Plus\u2019s content.<\/p>\n If you have a big family, or a large group of people all sharing one subscription, you should probably go with the Premium price tier, as that allows you to stream on up to four devices at once and download on up to 10. This plan is also the best choice for people who like to get the best audio and video quality possible.<\/p>\n If, however, there\u2019s less of you or you\u2019re not worried about watching in 4K UHD, then we\u2019d say go with the \u00a37.99 a month plan.
