One of the most contentious elements of 2020\u2019s Final Fantasy 7 remake was the first seven hours of the original<\/a> being stretched to a 40-plus hour game.<\/p>\n

Once the game came out, however, and we explored the expansive new Midgar, many of us were swayed.<\/p>\n

But what about Rebirth<\/a>, the second in the remake trilogy, which released today? It looks to be even bigger than the first, with an impressive amount of trophies<\/a> to boot.<\/p>\n

But how far does it get in the overall story of Final Fantasy 7?<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a closer look at the end point of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Of course, there will be spoilers ahead<\/strong>, so only carry on if you\u2019re not bothered!<\/p>\n

FF7 Rebirth ending: When will Part 2 cut off?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A lot of fans assumed that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth would finish at the end of the original PS1 game\u2019s first disc.<\/p>\n

That disc ended at the most dramatic \u2013 and subsequently iconic \u2013 scene in the entire game. We\u2019re talking about the moment in the Forgotten Capital, or the City of the Ancients.<\/p>\n

So, does<\/em> Rebirth end there? Does it end later? Or does it end sooner, sparing us the pain?<\/p>\n
