Fans of Demon Slayer<\/a> might have to wait until April for new episodes, but the first instalment of season 4<\/a> \u2013 also known as the Hashira Training Arc \u2013 is set to pack an almighty punch.<\/span><\/p>\n

Those who have seen Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba \u2013 To the Hashira Training will know that the end of the Swordsmith Village Arc saw Nezuko beating the sun, placing a target on her back for others to harness her powers.<\/span><\/p>\n

In order to protect them from this brand new threat, the Hashiras<\/a> decide to train the Demon Slayer Corps<\/a> themselves, hinting at more dramatic action and battles to come.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking exclusively to<\/span> RadioTimes.com<\/span><\/a>, Tanjiro voice actor Natsuki Hanae agreed, saying: \u201cThere\u2019s a lot more training and action that you didn\u2019t see so much in season 1. There\u2019s a really big sense of that in this next season. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI think fans will really be able to get behind their favourite characters.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

When fans originally met the Hashiras back in season 1, they were introduced through Tanjiro\u2019s eyes, with the story focused on his journey to becoming a member of the Demon Slayer Corps. <\/span><\/p>\n

Though there are a select number of active Hashiras, there are even more that are retired \u2013 which is something season 4 looks to pick up on.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the Hashira Training Arc manga, viewers might already have an idea of what\u2019s in store for season 4 \u2013 but that doesn\u2019t mean a few surprises won\u2019t be thrown in along the way. <\/span><\/p>\n

Retired Hashiras are expected to take centre stage once again, alongside a deeper dive into Gyomei\u2019s backstory.<\/span><\/p>

Demon Slayer fans are also expecting to see epic fights including Giyu vs Sanemi, while a more complex relationship between Muzan and Ubuyashiki is yet to be revealed.<\/span><\/p>\n

But where does this leave the immediate threat to Nezuko\u2019s safety? According to Hanae, the Hashira action just might take<\/span> viewers by surprise.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAll of the Hashiras are strong, but when you watch the next season, you\u2019re about to get a new impression of other characters,\u201d he told <\/span>RadioTimes.com<\/b>. \u201cI think it is something to really look forward to.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
