The mother-son duo who shocked the nation with that jaw-dropping Traitors twist appeared at last night’s BRIT Awards ceremony. <\/p>
There were a number of break-out stars from this year\u2019s season of The Traitors<\/a>, from Harry<\/a> to Jaz<\/a>, Paul<\/a> to Mollie<\/a>, but perhaps none took the nation by storm quite like Ross<\/a> and Diane<\/a>.<\/p>\n The two Faithfuls, who were revealed to be mother and son in the third episode of the season, became huge fan favourites, so much so that they were asked to take part in a skit to set up RAYE\u2019s performance at last night\u2019s (Saturday 2nd March) BRIT Awards<\/a>.<\/p>\n During the ceremony, which saw RAYE break records by taking home six awards, hosts Clara Amfo, Maya Jama and Roman Kemp took part in a Traitors-themed bit to set up the singer-songwriter\u2019s highly anticipated performance.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n Dressed in a Traitors hooded robe, Amfo started the skit by saying: \u201cOk Traitors, can we all reveal who we would like to see perform after the break and why? I\u2019m gonna go first. I\u2019m saying RAYE, because she\u2019s amazing and she\u2019s been nominated for seven BRIT Awards tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n Jama then added: \u201cFair. I\u2019m saying RAYE because she\u2019s got an amazing voice and she\u2019s iconic.\u201d<\/p>\n As the crowd screamed for her appearance the camera then cut to Diane, who said: \u201cI\u2019m saying RAYE because she\u2019s a strong, independent woman like me.\u201d<\/p>\n Ross finished up, joking: \u201cI\u2019m saying RAYE because she\u2019s an unbelievable woman and because mum told me to.\u201d<\/p>\n paul just couldn’t perform next… but @raye<\/a> can. #BRITs<\/a> pic.twitter.com\/JrII9OIAix<\/a><\/p>\u2014 BRIT Awards (@BRITs) March 2, 2024<\/a><\/blockquote>\n
