Ever since it was announced, fans have been counting down the months until Celebrity Big Brother<\/a> arrived on TV screens, and now the time has finally come!<\/p>\n

Featuring 12 celebrities from all different sides of the entertainment world, Celebrity Big Brother will see the group of famous faces embark on the ultimate social experiment as they become isolated from the outside world.<\/p>\n

Among those celebrities is Coronation Street<\/a> actor Colson Smith, who has just stepped foot into the iconic house.<\/p>\n

Much like many soap actors, viewers will be used to seeing them in character, not knowing much about the real person \u2013 but Celebrity Big Brother will change that.<\/p>\n

Colson Smith is best known for his role as Craig Tinker in ITV\u2019s Coronation Street. Smith has been on TV screens since 2011, and has become a much loved character on the soap.<\/p>\n

He has also appeared on various entertainment programmes, including Sitting on a Fortune and The Games.<\/p>\n

Smith had been rumoured to be taking part on Celebrity Big Brother prior to him entering, with producers said to have been \u201cin talks with Colson for months\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cBig Brother producers have been in talks with Colson for months and it looks like a done deal,\u201d a source told The Sun<\/a> ahead of the show\u2019s launch.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re thrilled he\u2019s keen to enter the nation\u2019s most famous house, because he\u2019s a big name already loved by millions of viewers, and they were hellbent on securing someone from Corrie.\u201d<\/p>\n

When is Celebrity Big Brother on TV?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
