Otto Farrant is back as the teenage spy in the first look at the new run, exclusively launched on RadioTimes.com. <\/p>
The third season of Alex Rider<\/a> arrives on Amazon Freevee next month \u2013 and RadioTimes.com<\/a> can exclusively reveal a first look at the high-octane trailer for the new run.<\/p>\n The two-minute trailer teases the return of Otto Farrant as the teenage spy as he takes on his most challenging mission yet, going face to face with the deadly criminal organisation known as Scorpia and learning some secrets about his family that lead him to question everything.<\/p>\n \u201cAt last, the real Alex Rider,\u201d a mysterious and somewhat ominous voice is heard saying at the opening of the trailer. \u201cYou\u2019re here because you want answers\u2026 we\u2019re not your enemies and never have been.\u201d<\/p>\n We then see that this voice belongs to Julia Rothman (Sofia Helin) who goes on to tell Alex that she knows \u201ceverything\u201d about his father, including how he died.<\/p>\n The trailer also sees the return of several other major characters including Brenock O\u2019Connor and Marli Siu as Alex\u2019s best friends Tom Harris and Kyra Vashenko-Chao, and Vicky McClure as his handler Mrs Jones, who at one point is seen warning: \u201cScorpia are no longer hiding in the shadows.\u201d<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n Meanwhile, we also get another look at Thomas Levin as assassin Yassen Gregorovich, with on-screen text teasing that \u201cenemies become allies\u201d and \u201callies become enemies\u201d.<\/p>\n The trailer ends with Alex explaining: \u201cEverything I\u2019ve been told has been lies. My dad was murdered\u2026 and I know who did it.\u201d<\/p>\n You can watch the trailer in full below, which also includes references to a weapon that can \u201cwipe out an entire city\u201d and teases some major action set pieces.<\/p>\n\n
