Apple TV+ has launched the first trailer for the upcoming mystery drama Sugar, which stars Colin Farrell as a private investigator.<\/p>\n
Billed as a \u201ccontemporary, unique take\u201d on the private detective story, the eight-part series sees Farrell take on the title role of John Sugar, who is tasked with looking into the mysterious disappearance of Olivia Siegel \u2013 the beloved granddaughter of legendary Hollywood producer.<\/p>\n
According to the synopsis: \u201cAs Sugar tries to determine what happened to Olivia, he will also unearth Siegel family secrets; some very recent, others long-buried.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAnother beautiful day in California,\u201d Sugar explains at the start of the trailer in a voice-over style typical of the noir genre.<\/p>\n
\u201cOut here, I\u2019m one of the good guys\u2026 but good and bad can be in the eye of the beholder.\u201d<\/p>
