Ekin-Su C\u00fclc\u00fclo\u011flu has lifted the lid on her relationship with Davide Sanclimenti<\/a> and their subsequent split during her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The reality star entered the Big Brother house on Monday 4th March, and has been living alongside Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh, Nikita Kuzmin<\/a>, Colson Smith<\/a>, Gary Goldsmith<\/a>, Marisha Wallace<\/a>, David Potts<\/a>, Levi Roots<\/a>, Zeze Millz<\/a>, Lauren Simon<\/a>, Bradley Riches<\/a> and Fern Britton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During a recent episode, the actress spoke to Fern Britton about her time on Love Island<\/a>, and in an upcoming spoiler, she has revealed she was \u201churt\u201d in her past relationship. So, what happened between the Love Island winners<\/a>?<\/p>\n

What happened between Ekin-Su and Davide and why did they split up?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The news of the pair first splitting up came from a statement from Davide in June 2023, around a year after they met on Love Island.<\/p>\n

In a statement posted to his Instagram account, Davide wrote: \u201cEkin-Su and I are no longer together. I am grateful for the memories and opportunities we shared together and I wish her nothing but the best.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like for everybody to respect this decision during this difficult time. I will continue to support Ekin in any way possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, things soon changed when they were spotted looking loved up at events. Davide went on to clarify<\/a> that they \u201cnever properly privately broke up\u201d and rather they were having \u201csome tough months\u201d.<\/p>\n

While it seemed the couple were back on track, they eventually confirmed they had broken up six months later.<\/p>\n

In January 2023, the pair shared the news of their split on their respective Instagram stories.<\/p>

Ekin-Su wrote: \u201cThe last 18 months have been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, just like every relationship. Davide and I both wanted to make this work as we cared deeply for each other.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately I have recently made the decision to end our relationship and to go our separate ways.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress went on to say she hopes their privacy \u201cwill be respected\u201d, noting she \u201cenjoyed\u201d their \u201ctime together and will cherish the memories\u201d they made.<\/p>\n

Shortly after her statement, Davide wrote that it was a \u201cjoint decision\u201d to end their relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cI agree, it was a beautiful story even with its ups and downs, like all couples. I loved every moment, from the first time I knew her in the villa until life outside,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really believed in us and saw a future for us. But sometimes in life people need to grow apart. Is just the direction of life. I will treasure our moments forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

What has Ekin-Su said about Davide on Celebrity Big Brother?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

During her first night in the Big Brother house, Ekin-Su spoke with fellow housemate Fern Britton about life in the public eye after Love Island.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went in there and thought I\u2019d leave in two weeks \u2019cause I was just myself,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a lonely place in there. And I found love on the show, which was great at the time. I had great memories with that person [Davide], I\u2019ve got no bad vibes for him, I really don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will treasure all the great times I had and I hope he\u2019s fine and he\u2019s well.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a preview for tonight\u2019s episode (Wednesday 6th March), Ekin-Su opens up to Marisha Wallace as to why her relationship ended.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey always say to me that the man should be more into the woman. Is that true?\u201d she asks Marisha.<\/p>\n

Marisha replies: \u201cI think so. Always.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ekin-Su then admits that was \u201cthe mistake\u201d she made and when asked why she \u201cquit\u201d her relationship, she replies: \u201cLet\u2019s just say he hurt me.\u201d<\/p>\n
