Further casting has now been unveiled for Chris Lang\u2019s new drama, I, Jack Wright<\/a>, which will be coming to Alibi in 2025.<\/p>\n The new series has been written by Lang himself, who is known for being behind hit shows like Unforgotten<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0The Thief, His Wife and the Canoe<\/a>, so something tells us this \u201cdarkly comic and moving murder mystery family drama\u201d will be a must-watch.<\/p>\n It was previously announced that the series will be led by Nikki Amuka-Bird (Citadel<\/a>) and John Simm (Grace<\/a>) as Sally and Gray Wright, with the likes of Trevor Eve (A Discovery of Witches<\/a>), Daniel Rigby (The Witchfinder) and Ruby Ashbourne Serkis (Becoming Elizabeth) also joining the cast, it has now been confirmed.<\/p>\n More cast members have also now been announced, with Rakhee Thakrar (Sex Education<\/a>) set to star as Laura Johnstone, while Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones<\/a>) is DCI Hector Morgan, Zo\u00eb Tapper (Grace<\/a>) is Georgia Wright, Liz Kingsman (Hijack<\/a>) is DC Katie Jones, James Fleet (Bridgerton<\/a>) is Bobby, Sabrina Bartlett (The Larkins<\/a>) is Bella and Percelle Ascott (Domino Day<\/a>) is Reuben.<\/p> The synopsis for the series reads: \u201cJack Wright (Eve) is a powerful and successful businessman, who leaves his family in disarray when they learn of his suicide.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen the provisions of Jack\u2019s final will and testament are made known, his third wife, Sally (Amuka-Bird), and two sons, Gray (Simm) and John (Rigby), are shocked to discover they have been largely cut out of Jack\u2019s enormous fortune.<\/p>\n \u201cAs DCI Morgan (Lloyd) and DC Jones (Kingsman) delve further into the case, they realise Jack\u2019s cause of death was in fact murder.
