Doctor Who writers past and present have shared a photo together after Russell T Davies and Steven Moffat attended a performance of Chris Chibnall\u2019s new play.<\/p>\n
Recently returned showrunner Davies posted the image to his Instagram<\/a> page alongside the caption: \u201cA marvellous night out in Salisbury to see Chris Chibnall\u2019s wonderful new play, One Last Push.\u201d<\/p>\n And he added: \u201cAlso, we plotted Zarbi vs Garms\u201d, referencing two classic Doctor Who<\/a> monsters.<\/p>\n Chibnall served as showrunner on the sci-fi juggernaut between 2018 and 2022, while Moffat had a long stint at the helm between 2010 and 2017, with Davies\u2019s two terms as series boss bookending their tenures.<\/p> And fans clearly enjoyed seeing the trio spending some time together, with one Whovian commenting on the post: \u201cHonestly I would love to see an episode of Doctor Who or even a whole series co-written by all 3 of you together.<\/p>\n \u201cI genuinely think the 3 of you working on it would not only just be the coolest thing to see happen but I\u2019d love to see the stories you guys come up with.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, another fan added: \u201cWonderful chaps, all of them\u201d \u2013 a reference to a line from the classic Who episode The Five Doctors<\/a>.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n
