George tells Emma about Niko’s criminal ties in this exclusive first look clip. <\/p>
After debuting last night, Channel 5 drama Love Rat<\/a> continues with its second episode tonight \u2013 and RadioTimes.com<\/a> can reveal an exclusive first-look clip of the next instalment.<\/p>\n In the clip, we see Sally Lindsay\u2019s character Emma confront Niko\u2019s business partner George (Ramon Tikaram) as she steps up her search for the hotel manager, who has vanished along with her life savings.<\/p>\n But she is soon warned against continuing the hunt.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is exciting, isn\u2019t it? You\u2019ve tracked me down, broken in\u2026\u201d George says at the beginning of the clip, although Emma retorts that the window had been open.<\/p>\n After offering to get her a drink, George apologises for \u201call that business\u201d with Niko, but Emma, understandably, doesn\u2019t seem especially willing to forgive.<\/p> \u201cHe took my money and you helped him rob me,\u201d she angrily states.<\/p>\n George counters that he tried to warn her and adds that \u201clife here isn\u2019t all sunshine and cocktails\u201d before explaining to her that Niko is in cahoots with the Mafia.<\/p>\n \u201cGuests on the island like you and me\u2026 we do as we\u2019re told,\u201d he continues.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n He later adds that he made some mistakes in the past, which means he now essentially has to repay debts to Niko and his men, and that he essentially amounts to \u201ca warm prop\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cIn their eyes I still have debts,\u201d he says. \u201cNiko\u2019s business, well that\u2019s just one of the repayments.
