New Apple TV+<\/a>\u00a0comedy\u00a0The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin<\/a> continues on the streamer this week and as well as the positively barmy escapades facing Dick and his gang, this week\u2019s episode will see the introduction of new character The Reddlehag, played by Jessica Hynes.<\/p>\n

Known for her roles in W1A<\/a>, The Royle Family and There She Goes<\/a>, comedian Hynes will play a witch in the upcoming fourth episode of the series \u2013 and RadioTimes.com<\/a> has your exclusive first look at Hynes in action.<\/p>\n

In one picture (above), she can be seen tied up at the stake alongside Noel Fielding\u2019s Turpin and Ellie White\u2019s Nell<\/a>. But while Turpin looks bemused and Nell looks disgusted, the Reddlehag bares her fangs and looks somewhat excited.<\/p>\n

The other image (below) shows Hynes in all her witchy glory, looking angry as she\u2019s pointing to something we can\u2019t see but looking positively scary.<\/p>\n

Hynes joins a long list of star-studded guest stars in the comedy series, which includes Greg Davies (Taskmaster), Laura Checkley (Screw) and Diane Morgan (Cunk on Britain), to name a few.<\/p>\n

With weekly episode releases of the Fielding-fronted comedy, fans will have to tune in to see how exactly how Hynes\u2019s mysterious witch slots into the action.<\/p>\n

But as per the series synopsis, the new show is an \u201cirreverent retelling\u201d and teases that Dick is \u201cthe most famous but least likely of highway robbers, whose success is defined mostly by his charm, showmanship, and great hair\u201d.<\/p>

The synopsis reads: \u201cIn The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, Dick Turpin (Noel Fielding) sets out on a journey of wildly absurd escapades when he\u2019s made the reluctant leader of a band of outlaws \u2014 and tasked with outwitting corrupt lawman and self-appointed thief-taker Jonathan Wilde (Hugh Bonneville).\u201d<\/p>\n

The synopsis adds:\u00a0\u201cTogether with his gang of lovable rogues, Turpin rides the highs and lows of his new endeavours, including a brush with celebrity, all whilst trying to escape the clutches of the thief-taker.\u201d<\/p>\n
