As things stand, the Western drama has already spawned two sister series \u2013 titled 1883 and 1923 \u2013 and a further three are reported to be in development, including a new sequel show starring Matthew McConaughey in the lead role.<\/p>\n
The plan for that sequel was reportedly for original stars Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser and Luke Grimes to reprise their roles as Beth Dutton, Rip Wheeler and Kayce Dutton, respectively, but it was recently claimed in the newsletter Puck<\/a> that the trio were asking for money to take part.<\/p>\n However, in an exclusive interview with RadioTimes.com<\/a> to promote her role in the new film Little Wing<\/a>, Reilly said that fans shouldn\u2019t pay too much attention to some of those rumours.<\/p> Asked about spin-offs, she said: \u201cI just care about finishing [the main show] with as much care and as much passion and as much love as I can muster to put into it.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s what I care about. I\u2019m sort of prepping for that now [and] that\u2019s my tunnel vision thing that I care about most.\u201d<\/p>\n She added: \u201cAnd what goes on beyond that? There are discussions, you know. Don\u2019t believe everything you read. It\u2019s just nonsense. But we\u2019re gonna, you know, let\u2019s wait and see. I don\u2019t have an answer right now.
