Prime Video\u2019s new adaptation of the Fallout<\/a> video game series is arriving next month, and it has been developed by the creators of Westworld, Lisa Joy\u00a0and\u00a0Jonathan Nolan, with Nolan also directing a number of the episodes.<\/p>\n

The latter recently spoke about the process of adapting the games into a series<\/a>, and revealed that he didn\u2019t \u201cset out to please the fans\u201d.<\/p>\n

As reported by T3<\/a>, Nolan said: \u201cI don\u2019t think you really can set out to please the fans of anything. Or please anyone other than yourself.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think you have to come into this trying to make the show that you want to make and trusting that, as fans of the game [ourselves], we would find the pieces that were essential to us\u2026 and try to do the best version.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nolan also explained how he came to develop his own love for the games and the story within them, and related the experience to his time working on The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises with his brother Christopher.<\/p>\n
