The massive community of Minecraft<\/a> players have a brand new weapon to try out! It\u2019s called the Mace, and it\u2019s well worth getting, in our opinion.<\/p>\n

Minecraft players have had plentiful new content to enjoy recently, with the addition of new wolves and dogs<\/a> being fresh in the memory as well.<\/p>\n

So, when can you start using this Minecraft weapon? And is it any good?<\/p>\n

Keep on reading for all the key details on the Minecraft Mace. (Not to be confused with Mace Windu, who you\u2019ll find in the newly released Star Wars Battlefront: Classic Collection<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

When is the Mace coming to Minecraft?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Mace is available right now for PC and console players of Minecraft<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For Java players on PC, it\u2019s available in the latest Snapshot. And for Bedrock players on console, it\u2019s available via Minecraft Preview.<\/p>\n

Players using any of the other editions of Minecraft \u2014 or players that don\u2019t want to faff around with Snapshots or Previews \u2014 will have to wait until the big Minecraft 1.21 update launches across the board.<\/p>\n

The Minecraft 1.21 release date<\/a> isn\u2019t confirmed yet, but June 2024 seems to be a common guess among fans online. Hopefully, you shouldn\u2019t have to wait too long for the Mace then!<\/p>

How to get the Mace in Minecraft<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To get the Mace in Minecraft, players first need to have the right version of the game installed.<\/p>\n

On the Java version for PC, players need to install Minecraft Snapshot 24W11A.<\/p>\n

The official Minecraft blog<\/a> says, \u201cTo install the Snapshot, open up the Minecraft Launcher<\/a> and enable Snapshots in the \u2018Installations\u2019 tab.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bedrock players on consoles need to have Minecraft Preview 1.20.80.22 installed before they can get the Mace.<\/p>\n

Note that Minecraft Preview is actually a different app, and there\u2019s\u00a0a big FAQ page<\/a> about setting it up if you haven\u2019t already.<\/p>\n
