The revival series features much of the original cast, but some parts feature new actors in familiar roles. <\/p>
X-Men \u201997 promises to deliver a serious nostalgia rush \u2013 debuting 20th March on Disney Plus, the new animated series is a continuation of the original X-Men cartoon that aired between 1992 and 1997.<\/p>\n
Much of the original cast has returned, 27 years on, to reprise their original roles \u2013 including Cal Dodd as Wolverine, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Lenore Zann as Rogue and George Buza as Beast.<\/p>\n
With some of the original voice cast having since passed away \u2013 including Norm Spencer (Cyclops) and David Hemblen (Magneto) \u2013 their roles were recast for the new series.<\/p>\n
However, there are a few instances where surviving cast members appear in X-Men \u201997<\/a> in new roles, while new cast additions take up their old roles. Jean Grey is now voiced by Jennifer Hale, with Jean\u2019s original actor Catherine Disher playing a different character, Valerie Cooper.<\/p>\n Likewise, Morph is now played by JP Karliak, with the original voice of Morph, Ron Rubin, now playing President Kelly.<\/p>\n
