Gunn is currently the co-head of DC Studios and is in the process of rebooting the comic book franchise, starting with 2025\u2019s Superman<\/a> (previously titled Superman: Legacy) which is now in production and will star David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan and Nicholas Hoult in leading roles.<\/p>\n Gillan has previously expressed an interest<\/a> in playing classic Batman foe Poison Ivy in a future DC film \u2013 something which has naturally captured the imagination of fans around the world \u2013 and in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, she was asked if she\u2019d been inundating Gunn with requests to play the character.<\/p>\n \u201cThe fact that Nebula turned into 10 years of work is the greatest thing that\u2019s happened to me,\u201d was her response.<\/p>\n \u201cSo I like to leave things up to the universe a little bit and see what happens, but I would absolutely love to work with James again. He\u2019s the best.\u201d<\/p>\n Now, while those comments don\u2019t exactly tease that a cast announcement is imminent, it is clear that Gillan would still have more than a little interest in teaming up with Gunn again for a new DC project.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n She originally made the Poison Ivy comments during an interview with Total Film magazine<\/a> back in 2023, saying: \u201cI always thought that Poison Ivy was really fun.
