John Mayer is bringing hits like Waiting on the World to Change and Your Body is a Wonderland to UK and Ireland venues this week, and we can\u2019t wait. The singer-songwriter is kicking off his Solo tour tonight (Monday 18th March) at London\u2019s O2, with a second concert at the arena tomorrow, before heading to Glasgow and Dublin next week. Best of all? There are still tickets to see the Connecticut-born artist over the next two weeks.<\/p>\n

American artist Mayer has been performing since the late \u201990s, but it was his 2001 debut album that started Mayer\u2019s journey to stardom. The 2001 debut studio album, Room For Squares, features hits like No Such Thing, and his 2003 album Heavier Things includes the fan-favourite songs Clarity and Daughters.<\/p>\n

Also in 2003, Mayer won his first Grammy Award, and in 2005, the song Daughters earned him a Grammy for Song of the Year, too.<\/p>\n

Continuum, the 2006 studio album, has one of our favourite openers of all time \u2014 Waiting on the World to Change, of course! The album was considered a commercial success, and 2006 ended up being a smashing year for Mayer as he was nominated for five Grammy Awards and won two: Best Pop Song Vocal (for Waiting on the World to Change) and Best Pop Album for Continuum.<\/p>\n

In the years that followed, Mayer released Battle Studies, Born and Raised \u2014 which spent two weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 \u2014 and The Search for Everything. In 2021, Mayer announced his eighth album, Sob Rock, and released the lead single Last Train Home.<\/p>\n
