The new Disney Plus show is the first live-action show in the franchise since Ahsoka. <\/p>

After the release date was revealed for new Star Wars<\/a> series The Acolyte<\/a> yesterday, we\u2019re now able to feast our eyes on a brand new trailer.<\/p>\n

The clip gives us our first look at the show\u2019s story and characters, with darkness descending upon the High Republic, and the Jedi fighting to stop it.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, it also shows us some of the combat we can expect throughout the series, as well as a sense of the foreboding tone which is set to permeate.<\/p>\n
