A return to the Birmingham gangster drama has been touted since season 6 ended, and while details around the film and who will make up the cast have been a closely guarded secret, Knight has confirmed that Oppenheimer<\/a> star Murphy will return for the project.<\/p>\n During the premiere for his new BBC series This Town, Knight told BirminghamWorld<\/a>: \u201c[Cillian] definitely is returning for it. We\u2019re shooting it in September just down the road in Digbeth.\u201d<\/p>\n This will come as a delight to fans, especially given the Oscar-winning actor has remained tight-lipped as to what capacity he would feature in any big-screen adaptation.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s always about the story. It\u2019s always about the script,\u201d Murphy told CBS News<\/a> last month. \u201cIf [Steven] feels like there\u2019s more story for Tommy, then I\u2019ll be there.\u201d<\/p>\n As for what the film will entail, no one really knows apart from Knight.
