Music plays an important part in the new film. <\/p>
While sharing a name and premise with the 1989 Patrick Swayze film<\/a> of the same name, the recently released reimagining of Road House<\/a> also differs in several ways from its predecessor.<\/p>\n One of the ways in which the film offers a different experience to the original is through its use of music, with director Doug Liman explaining that he wanted to bring a unique feel to the film\u2019s soundtrack.<\/p>\n \u201cThe story being set in the Florida Keys gave us a geographical perspective, and we wanted the music to be organic and authentic,\u201d he said. \u201cI wanted Randy [Poster, music supervisor] to find the types of bands that would actually play at a venue like the Road House.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Poster added: \u201cWe went to New Orleans and recorded three bands down there.
