Fast travel in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a complicated feature. <\/p>

Getting around the massive map of Capcom\u2019s RPG sequel can feel like a chore if you\u2019re not in the mood to walk everywhere. Fortunately, there are a couple of ways to fast travel in Dragon\u2019s Dogma 2<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, fast travel doesn\u2019t work the same in this game as it does in others. There are some hurdles to overcome in the system and it won\u2019t come cheap.<\/p>\n

It\u2019ll cost your in-game wallet and maybe even your actual wallet. Microtransactions, eh?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not surprising that there are hefty caveats to fast travelling in Dragon\u2019s Dogma 2. The game\u2019s director, Hideaki Itsuno, is not a fan<\/a> of the feature and believes players can better take in the world around them without it.<\/p>\n

How to fast travel in Dragon\u2019s Dogma 2: Explained<\/b><\/h2>\n

There are a couple of different Dragon\u2019s Dogma 2 fast travel systems \u2013 both of them will cost you money in-game and aren\u2019t too simple to use. You can pay to travel in Oxcarts<\/b> or use Portcrystals<\/b>. Both methods require some explanation.<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t want to walk everywhere in Capcom\u2019s massive new RPG, you need to pay attention now.<\/p>\n

How to use Oxcarts in Dragon\u2019s Dogma 2<\/b><\/h2>\n

While it\u2019s not exactly \u201cfast\u201d fast travel, the best way to travel quickly in the early hours of Dragon\u2019s Dogma 2 is to ride in Oxcarts.<\/p>\n

There should be an Oxcart route to major settlements and towns. Pay a small amount of Gold and you and your Pawns can travel in an Oxcart \u2013 as long as you time it right. Most leave early in the morning.<\/p>\n

Use the signpost\/bell you should find close by to a settlement\u2019s gates to summon an Oxcart. Hop inside or talk to the driver and they\u2019ll tell you where the Oxcart is heading and how much Gold it\u2019ll cost you.<\/p>\n
