Sci-fi epic 3 Body Problem<\/a> is now available on Netflix<\/a>, with this first season adapting the first in Chinese author Liu Cixin\u2019s trilogy of novels<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A second season has yet to be confirmed, but it certainly seems that creators Alexander Woo, DB Weiss and David Benioff intend to adapt all three novels if the show is renewed.<\/p>\n

Speaking exclusively with RadioTimes.com<\/a> as the series was released, Woo said: \u201cWell, the most immediate hope is that there\u2019s a second one, one thing at a time, today is the first day where we\u2019ll find out\u2026 the ball has started rolling down the hill, and we\u2019ll see how how far we\u2019ll go.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeyond that, it\u2019s the book trilogy \u2013 three books, roughly maybe three seasons, but that third book is quite long so it might be a little bit more.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cI mean, the thing I think we all agree on is we want to get to the end. And that end image, the ending of the book, is something that we\u2019re all deeply, deeply excited about because it ties everything together in such a beautiful way.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will take more than two seasons. But whether it takes three or four or some other number, it\u2019s hard to say.\u201d<\/p>\n
