George Lazenby, who is known for his leading role as Bond in On Her Majesty\u2019s Secret Service<\/a>, said in a recent TMZ<\/a> report that Taylor-Johnson<\/a> would be able to \u201chandle the stunts and all the ladies who love a man in a tux\u201d.<\/p>\n However, Lazenby did note that he thinks Taylor-Johnson doesn\u2019t yet have the role of Bond under his belt just yet, referencing his own experience.<\/p>\n He revealed that \u201cwhen he auditioned for the part back in the 1960s, he went through a bunch of different tests and auditions before he won the role\u201d.<\/p>\n Lazenby also commented that the ever-popular film franchise has \u201cgone totally international now\u201d, with the Australian actor himself having fronted On Her Majesty\u2019s Secret Service in 1969.<\/p>\n Because of the variety of national origins of the Bond stars, Lazenby admitted that he\u2019s fine with wherever the actor happens to hail from, \u201cas long as they do the character justice\u201d.<\/p>\n He also offered up some advice for the potential 007 star, saying that Taylor-Johnson should be \u201ctrue to himself and reinvent the role to fit him\u201d.<\/p> Lazenby himself is actually the Bond with the shortest tenure in the film series, cast to replace Sean Connery and then declining the possibility of return in subsequent films.<\/p>\n As of now, there\u2019s been no further confirmation about Taylor-Johnson\u2019s involvement in the spy movie franchise, but rumours have intensified as of late.<\/p>\n Read more:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n In a report last week, The Sun<\/a> claimed that Taylor-Johnson will formally accept the gig this week, with a source telling the publication: \u201cBond is Aaron\u2019s job, should he wish to accept it.
