From Insomniac Games\u2019 Spider-Man<\/a> saga to the surprisingly brilliant Guardians of the Galaxy<\/a>, the Marvel games of modern times have been top quality.<\/p>\n

And this looks set to continue, with Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra doing a Metal Gear Solid 3<\/a> and taking us back to the lore\u2019s origins.<\/p>\n

So, what do we know about this Second World War-based prequel? It was first announced back in 2021 as the first project from Skydance New Media (led by Amy Hennig of Uncharted<\/a> fame, a very<\/em> promising sign) and it was teased the following year. But a trailer dropped a few days ago that answers a lot of questions.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s dive in and take a closer look at Marvel 1943, from its release speculation to story.<\/p>\n

When is the Marvel 1943 release date?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The trailer revealed a rather large release window of sometime in 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

So, it depends on how optimistic you are. Less than a year away, or almost two years away? As soon as a closer date surfaces, we\u2019ll update this page.<\/p>

Can I pre-order Marvel 1943?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

As Marvel 1943 is still in its very<\/em> early stages, there\u2019s no option to pre-order at the moment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As soon as anything becomes available, we\u2019ll be sure to let you know right here!<\/p>\n

Which consoles and platforms can play Marvel 1943?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Unfortunately, we don\u2019t even know which consoles Marvel 1943 will drop on<\/strong>! However, this is something we can easily speculate by looking at recent trends.<\/p>\n

Both 2020\u2019s Avengers and 2021\u2019s Guardians of the Galaxy released across all platforms (apart from the Switch), and as Marvel 1943 looks like a similar sort of affair, we imagine it will do the same.<\/p>\n

However, it\u2019s unlikely it will drop on previous-gen hardware like PS4 and Xbox One. Last year\u2019s Spider-Man 2 only dropped on the PlayStation 5, so it\u2019s unlikely that a high-end game releasing next<\/em> year will accommodate for older consoles.<\/p>\n

However, this is all speculation. We\u2019ll update this page as soon as we know for sure.<\/p>\n
