Tahj joined the series in season 10 as Marlon Pryce after the Commissioner encouraged him to join the Youth Offenders Police team to keep him out of trouble and, three seasons later, he has bid farewell to the island.<\/p>\n
His exit from the series was one fans didn\u2019t see coming<\/a>. In scenes that played out earlier this month, Marlon explained he would be joining his sister in Jamaica and, soon, JP was able to secure him a job for him on another police force.<\/p>\n Following on from his departure, Tahj has announced where viewers will be able to see him next, but has remained tight-lipped about further details.<\/p>\n The actor posted a carousel of photos<\/a> that appear to be stills from the project and wrote: \u201cCrosshatch. Coming soon.\u201d<\/p>\n Other cast members include Tyreke Leslie and Isaac O\u2019Connor-Adekoya, as per Tahj\u2019s Instagram.<\/p> Fans flocked to the comments to congratulate the actor on his new role, with one commenting: \u201cExcellent! Congratulations Tahj! Can\u2019t wait to see it.\u201d<\/p>\n Another penned: \u201cWould love to watch it, congratulations.\u201d<\/p>\n The news comes after his Death in Paradise co-star, Ralf Little, hung up his detective boots. Coming into a series beloved by millions was a huge responsibility and I had no idea whether viewers would take to my interpretation of Neville\u2019s character, and indeed to me.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was quite a relief that the response has been overwhelming, and it\u2019s been an absolute privilege and a pleasure to bring Neville Parker to all of you and to share his quite profound journey with you.\u201d<\/p>\n As for who will be replacing Little in the series, that much is still unknown, but former lead Ben Miller has shared his thoughts<\/a> on who could be the perfect fit.<\/p>\n When asked who could be a good replacement, Miller said: \u201cOh my God, there are so many people who\u2019d be brilliant. Toby Jones, that\u2019s who I\u2019d like to see.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
