After 10 weeks of high-stakes challenges and plenty of sweat, Gladiators<\/a> is nearing its end on BBC One, with two winners set to be crowned at the end of the competition.<\/p>\n

Viewers have grown to love a brand new group of Gladiators<\/a>, who have all been proving themselves to be superhuman with their speed (Nitro, we\u2019re looking at you) and tenacity to bring down the contenders.<\/p>\n

The rebooted series was a hit among viewers too and became the biggest entertainment launch for the BBC<\/a> in seven years. The BBC announced that the series attracted an audience of 8.7 million across its first seven days, with an audience of six million tuning into the premiere episode.<\/p>\n

With all of this in mind, will Gladiators return for a second season? Here\u2019s everything we know.<\/p>\n

Will there be a Gladiators season 2?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
Yes<\/strong>, the BBC have confirmed that Gladiators will return for a second season \u2013 as part of its Annual Plan for 2024\/25 published on 28th March, the broadcaster announced that \u201cwill return to the Sheffield Arena\u201d for another run of episodes.<\/p>\n
Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC, said: \u201cGladiators has really kicked this year off with a bang, and we\u2019re so delighted that the fans have come to the show in their masses. It has been wonderful to hear how much families have loved watching this together, as part of the BBC\u2019s Saturday evening entertainment offering. We can\u2019t wait for more action from the Gladiators.\u201d<\/p>\n
