The star told RadioTimes.com that he’s open to reprising his role as Owen Shaw for the long-running franchise’s closing instalment. <\/p>

Luke Evans has revealed he would be open to reprising his role as Owen Shaw in the final Fast & Furious<\/a> film.<\/p>\n

The Welsh actor first starred as the antagonist \u2013 who is the brother of Jason Statham\u2019s character Deckard Shaw \u2013 in the sixth entry of the long-running action franchise, and has gone on to make a couple of other appearances in subsequent films.<\/p>\n

And, speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a> for a Big RT Interview about his new divorce drama Our Son, Evans revealed that with the final film on the horizon, he\u2019d love to go back one more time \u2013 even if it is far from a certainty that he\u2019ll be asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat world\u2026 they get bigger and bigger and crazier and crazier, and the more bad guys they bring in, the less chance that Owen comes back,\u201d he said.<\/p>

\u201cBut the Shaw family is still there. And obviously, [there\u2019s] Jason as Owen\u2019s brother and Helen Mirren as his mother \u2013 so the family really has probably the longest legacy of a bad guy family in the franchise.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cI\u2019d go back if they invite me, I think it\u2019s very fun. It would be very fun to reprise the role.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Evans did add one caveat that might make returning to the franchise a little less enticing this time around.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s now got all these scars on his face,\u201d he said. \u201cSo it\u2019ll be hours in prosthetics. I\u2019m not entirely sure I want to do that!\u201d<\/p>\n
