The seven celebrities will be going on a spiritual journey around Wales – here’s the route they’ll be taking. <\/p>

Seven famous faces of different religious backgrounds, faiths and beliefs have set off on a new route for the BBC\u2019s Pilgrimage.<\/p>\n

This time around they\u2019ll be heading to Wales, as they travel along the North Wales Pilgrim\u2019s Way.<\/p>\n

Throughout the three-part series, the line-up<\/a> \u2013 which includes wildlife presenter Michaela Strachan<\/strong>,\u00a0entrepreneur Spencer Matthews<\/strong>,\u00a0journalist and TV presenter\u00a0Sonali Shah<\/strong>, comedian Eshaan Akbar<\/strong>\u00a0and more \u2013 will go on a personal journey.<\/p>\n

The route will celebrate Celtic early Christian saints, with Bardsey Island, the fabled \u2018island of 20,000 saints\u2019 just off the western tip of the Ll\u0177n Peninsula, as their planned final destination.<\/p>\n

Bardsey Island is notoriously dangerous to cross \u2013 so will the celebrities manage to complete this challenging journey safely?<\/p>\n

As the first episode airs on Friday 29th March, read on for the route the Pilgrims took this year.<\/p>\n

Pilgrimage: The Road Through North Wales 2024 route<\/strong><\/h2>\n
For this season, the celebrities travelled along the North Wales Pilgrim\u2019s Way, also known as \u2018The Welsh Camino\u2019.<\/p>\n
Below is a list of places they walked to along the route, from Greenfield Valley, where the celebs started the journey, to their final destination.<\/p>\n

St Winefride\u2019s Well<\/strong><\/li>\n
St Winifred\u2019s church (located in Gwytherin)<\/strong><\/li>\n
St Digain\u2019s church (located in Llangernyw, with a 4,000-year-old tree)<\/strong><\/li>\n
Coffin Path leading to St Celynnin\u2019s church (located in Llangelynnin)<\/strong><\/li>\n
Aber Falls (in Eryri national park)<\/strong><\/li>\n
Llanberis (the pilgrimage path goes through this village, at the foot of Mount Snowdon, Yr Wyddfa. The pilgrims took a day to walk up Snowdon, but this climb isn\u2019t on the original route)<\/strong><\/li>\n
Y Fron (in the North Wales slate landscape)<\/strong><\/li>\n
