The detective whose memoirs inspired ITV’s Manhunt has said that a third series could be on the cards. <\/p>
Real-life detective Colin Sutton<\/a>, who was portrayed by Martin Clunes in ITV\u2019s Manhunt<\/a>, has revealed that he\u2019s currently \u201ctalking about\u201d the possibility of making a third series.<\/p>\n Speaking during a Q&A for the detective drama\u2019s second series, which aired over the course of this week, the former DCI said that there \u201cmight be\u201d other cases of his that could be dramatised when asked about series three.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter we did the first one, I wasn\u2019t sure about this one. We\u2019re thinking about it and we\u2019re talking about it and we have to say there\u2019s a possibility, I think.\u201d<\/p>\n Ed Whitmore, who wrote both the first and second series of Manhunt, based on Sutton\u2019s memoirs, said he would \u201c100 per cent\u201d be up for writing a third series.<\/p>\n \u201cAbsolutely.
