The Happy Valley star is currently executive producing two new series through his own production company. <\/p>

Following his final turn as Tommy Lee Royce in Happy Valley<\/a> last year, James Norton will soon be seen in Playing Nice<\/a>, a new ITV drama which he has also executive produced through his production company Rabbit Track Pictures.<\/p>\n

The company, which he co-founded with Kitty Kaletsky, is also behind Norton\u2019s next project, BBC period drama King and Conqueror<\/a>, which is currently in production.<\/p>\n

Given his step into the world of production and work behind the camera, Norton was recently asked in an interview with Deadline<\/a> whether he has any plans to direct one day \u2013 and he said that is \u201cdefinitely in the plan\u201d.<\/p>\n

Norton explained: \u201cAfter King and Conquer wraps, it\u2019s a moment to take stock and look at our slate and what we have in development. Part of the next chapter of the company is that I would like to get behind the camera in more than just a producorial way.\u201d<\/p>\n
