Rose may be in Kim Tate’s firing line! <\/p>
Emmerdale has announced the casting of acclaimed actress Christine Tremarco as a woman called Rose, who shares a mysterious connection to Will Taylor (played by Dean Andrews).<\/p>\n
Rose is described as bolshy and boisterous, and is said to have previously lived in Benidorm.<\/p>\n
The character\u2019s arrival is set to cause trouble in Will\u2019s marriage to Kim Tate (Claire King), when Will fails to mention Rose to his furious wife!<\/p>\n
Star Tremarco will make her debut on-screen later this month, and has spoken for the first time about her role on the ITV soap.<\/p>\n

Rose is so much fun to play,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \u201cShe is free-spirited, boisterous and totally mischievous with a steely edge and a big heart.\u201d<\/p>\n Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw added: \u201cWe are massively delighted to welcome Christine Tremarco to the Emmerdale family.<\/p>\n \u201cChristine brings a wealth of experience and talent, and playing the character of Rose, a true free spirit with an exuberant outlook on life, she certainly promises to cause a real storm for some of our villagers.\u201d<\/p> \u00a0<\/p>\n Tremarco is known for her television roles in The Responder<\/a>, Safe House and Casualty. She also starred in BBC\u2019s Waterloo Road<\/a> as kindly yet fiery teaching assistant Davina Shackleton from 2007 to 2009.<\/p>\n It looks like Emmerdale\u2019s Kim might just have met her match, with the above descriptions suggesting Rose won\u2019t necessarily be as wary of Kim as the other villagers!<\/p>\n But just who is Rose, and how does Will know her? Is she someone from his past life of crime?
