The singer has announced her third studio album! <\/p>

It\u2019s been three years since Billie Eilish last released a new album, but now the wait is almost over: the singer has officially announced her third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, and its release date isn\u2019t too<\/em> far away!<\/span><\/p>\n

Eilish<\/a> wrote on Instagram on Monday (8th April): \u201cSo crazy to be writing this right now I\u2019m nervy & excited.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cFinneas [Eilish\u2019s brother and producer] and I truly could not be more proud of this album and we absolutely can\u2019t wait for you to hear it. Love you, love you, love you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The announcement was accompanied by a first look at the album cover, which features Eilish underwater, barefoot and sinking beneath a wooden door.<\/span><\/p>\n

The singer also revealed that she won\u2019t be releasing any singles for the album because \u201cI<\/span> wanna give it to you all at once :PPP\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to a press release, Eilish\u2019s new album promises to \u201chit you hard and soft both lyrically and sonically\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

It added that the music \u201cjourneys through a vast and expansive audio landscape, immersing listeners into a full spectrum of emotions\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hit Me Hard and Soft marks her third album, following 2021\u2019s Happier Than Ever and her 2019 debut When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, which launched her to stardom.<\/span><\/p>\n

Back in 2023, she told <\/span>The Cookout<\/span><\/a> she was working on new music. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>There is lots of music coming,\u201d she said. \u201cThere is a whole album of music coming. We\u2019re in the final stages of making it, so that doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s about to come out, but it is getting there, and it\u2019s very exciting.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
