Viewers are to “expect the unexpected” when it comes to the celebrity recruits on series three. <\/p>
We\u2019re just one week away from finding out which celebs in the Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins 2021 line-up<\/a> managed to pass the selection process, and we\u2019re told viewers are in for lots of \u201csurprises\u201d as we get closer to the final hurdle.<\/p>\n Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a>, SAS: Who Dares Wins instructors<\/a> Mark \u2018Billy\u2019 Billingham, Jason \u2018Foxy\u2019 Fox and Melvyn Downes \u2013 who joined the show earlier this year \u2013\u00a0 revealed there\u2019s lots of \u201cunexpected\u201d turns along the way.<\/p>\n \u201cYou can expect to see people going a little bit further for sure \u2013 people that you never expect to come out with things they\u2019ve probably never done before,\u201d Billy explained. \u201cWhat they do do is just truly amazing. So yeah, you can expect the unexpected!\u201d<\/p>\n Hinting at a possible underdog in the 2021 series, Melvyn said: \u201cThere\u2019s going to be a lot more surprises. There\u2019s always a dark horse, so to speak, and you can expect more of the same at an intense pace. The pace goes up now.\u201d<\/p>\n Foxy, whose new series Foxy\u2019s Fearless 48 Hours begins tonight at 10pm on Channel 4, added: \u201cThere\u2019s more pain and hardship for celebrities, surprisingly. You can expect a lot of surprises in the people. They dig deep and who\u2019s left at the end I think [is surprising.]\u201d<\/p> There\u2019s been several injuries on the current series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, with Ulrika Jonsson, Saira Khan, Jake Quickenden, Shanaze Reade and Kieron Dyer all having to withdraw from the show with injuries.<\/p>\n However, Billy tells us there\u2019ll be less of that going forward, as the remaining contestants put in their \u201call\u201d to pass the selection process.<\/p>\n \u201cNow it\u2019s down to the wire. Now we\u2019re left with the real hardcore \u2013 the people who really want it in their heart. It\u2019s now down to how much their body and mind can take and that\u2019s the truth,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s really down to them and you\u2019ll be shocked thinking, \u2018I never thought that person could do that!\u2019 In terms of people getting injured or worse of it, we\u2019re through that barrier. We\u2019re now down to: give all, to win all!\u201d<\/p>\n Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is on Channel 4 on Sundays at 9pm. Foxy\u2019s Fearless 48 Hours starts tonight at 10pm on Channel 4.
