With the end of Yellowstone<\/a> nearing, former cast member Kevin Costner has revealed that he would \u201clove\u201d to return for the final episodes.<\/p>\n

Costner departed his role as John Dutton last year, following what he later described as a \u201clong, hard-fought negotiation\u201d (as reported by People<\/a>), mainly due to scheduling conflicts with his new movie series Horizon: An American Saga, and amid claims that there was a disagreement over the pay and creative direction.<\/p>\n

Despite this, in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight<\/a>, Costner explained that he would be interested in returning to the series.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI\u2019d like to be able to do it but we haven\u2019t been able to\u2026 I thought I was going to make seven [seasons] but right now we\u2019re at five. So how it works out \u2013 I hope it does \u2013 but they\u2019ve got a lot of different shows going on.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe it will. Maybe this will circle back to me. If it does and I feel really comfortable with [it], I\u2019d love to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was previously announced that the second half of the final season of Yellowstone will premiere in November.<\/p>

While Yellowstone may be coming to an end, this hasn\u2019t stopped multiple spin-offs from being created. Just some of the sequels and prequels include 1923<\/a>, 1883<\/a> and 6666.<\/p>\n

Yellowstone star Kelly Reilly recently played down claims of a sequel that reportedly would star herself, Cole Hauser and Luke Grimes as Beth Dutton, Rip Wheeler and Kayce Dutton, respectively.<\/p>\n
