During tonight\u2019s episode, the remaining five candidates faced the interviews, as Lord Sugar\u2019s most trusted advisors, Linda Plant<\/a>, Mike Soutar<\/a>, Claude Littner<\/a> and Claudine Collins<\/a>, grilled each and every one of them on their business plans and CVs, even uncovering some white lies along the way!<\/p>\n Following a boardroom debate and pitch session, Lord Sugar fired three candidates, revealing the two finalists who have a shot at becoming his next business partner.<\/p>\n The unlucky candidates fired were Tre Lowe<\/a>, Flo Edwards<\/a> and Dr Paul Midha<\/a>, with the latter closely missing out on a spot in the final after a last-minute business plan change.<\/p>\n That left pie company owner Phil Turner<\/a><\/strong> and boutique fitness studio owner Rachel Woolford<\/strong><\/a> as the finalists of The Apprentice 2024.<\/p>\n On making it through the interviews, Phil said: \u201cI feel really proud of myself to have made it to the final. It\u2019s not been the easiest journey, but Lord Sugar was right to see something in me, and that I can be his next business partner.\u201d<\/p>\n Rachel echoed Phil\u2019s sentiments and added: \u201cI can\u2019t quite believe that I\u2019ve made it to this point. This has been such a competitive series with incredible candidates that I\u2019m in absolute awe of.<\/p>\n \u201cTo make it to the final is a dream, and I\u2019m just so excited now to showcase my business that I\u2019ve poured my heart and soul into.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite not making it to the final, the latest three fired candidates have sung the praises of Phil and Rachel, spurring them on to win the show.<\/p>\n In an exclusive interview with RadioTimes.com<\/a>, Flo shared that Rachel \u201cdeserves\u201d to win The Apprentice 2024.<\/p>\n \u201cI shared a room with Rachel from day one, and we were very close throughout the whole process,\u201d she explained.<\/p> \u201cEven when we were on our down days, Rachel and I set up in the room and read our books and spent a lot of time together. I\u2019m very close to Rachel [and] I do hope that she does go on to win because she deserves everything and more.\u201d<\/p>\n Tre expressed a similar sentiment, praising both Phil and Rachel for having made it to the final.
