Ti West and Mia Goth are uniting once again. <\/p>

Mia Goth\u2019s iconic character will soon be back on our screens in MaXXXine, the third instalment in Ti West\u2019s horror trilogy.<\/span><\/p>\n

And now the official trailer<\/a> has dropped, teasing a violent and action-packed ending to the blood-spattered series.<\/span><\/p>\n

The trilogy kicked off in 2022 with X, the slasher film which revolves around a massacre on the set of an adult film at the hands of a homicidal elderly couple.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prequel movie Pearl then landed six months later, telling the origin story of X\u2019s villain, Pearl (Goth).<\/span><\/p>\n

And now MaXXXine will serve as a direct sequel to X, <\/span>with Goth reprising her role as Maxine Minx.<\/p>\n

Set about six years after the events of X, MaXXXine takes place in Hollywood in 1985, and follows former porn star Maxine as she goes to great lengths to break into acting, all while a serial killer is on the loose.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s going be the best movie of the three,\u201d Goth previously told <\/span>Variety<\/span><\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s the biggest story of the three with the highest stakes, and Maxine has gone through so much at this point. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSo when we find her in this new world, she\u2019s just a force to be reckoned with \u2013 and she goes through some pretty wild adventures.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

MaXXXine release date<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The film is set to land in UK cinemas on 9th August 2024. <\/b><\/p>\n

Fans in the US will be pleased to hear it\u2019s set to release a few weeks earlier, and will be available to watch in cinemas from 5th July.<\/p>

Mia Goth<\/strong> reprises her role as Maxine Minx, an adult film star who\u2019s trying to break into Hollywood.<\/p>\n

The Crown\u2019s Elizabeth Debicki<\/strong> will play the director of The Puritan II, while Michelle Monaghan<\/strong> and\u00a0Bobby Cannavale<\/strong> will portray LAPD officers.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Emily in Paris\u2019s\u00a0Lily Collins<\/strong> will appear as one of Minx\u2019s co-stars in the film-within-a-film, Giancarlo Esposito<\/strong> will play Minx\u2019s agent and Kevin Bacon<\/strong> will appear as a private detective.<\/p>\n

Singer-songwriter Halsey<\/strong> and The Idol\u2019s Moses Sumney<\/strong> have also been cast in MaXXXine in as-yet-undisclosed roles.<\/p>\n
