Another departure is on the way in EastEnders<\/a>, with actor Clay Milner Russell said to have quit after five years in the role of Bobby Beale.<\/p>\n

News of his exit was first reported in The Sun<\/a>, and it certainly came as a shock to viewers, who have taken Russell\u2019s version of Bobby to their hearts since he joined the BBC soap.<\/p>\n

Bobby was played by four different young actors before the star took over as the adult incarnation of Ian Beale\u2019s (Adam Woodyatt) youngest son.<\/p>\n

Prior to this, Bobby was played by Eliot Carrington from 2014 to 2017, during which time the 11-year-old Bobby was exposed as the killer<\/a> of his half-sister Lucy Beale (Hetti Bywater).<\/span><\/p>\n

Bobby\u2019s genuine remorse, kind nature and awkward approach to dating and life in general endeared him to fans, and he is currently dating Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) on-screen.<\/p>\n
